We are looking for motivated people to work on our project “Strain Engineering of Two-Dimensional Materials for Physics and Optoelectronics” supported by TUBİTAK.

In this project, we create atomically thin and suspended membranes such as monolayer graphene and WSe2. We apply air pressure to achieve mechanical strain on those membranes. By employing optical spectroscopy techniques such as absorption and photoluminescence, we study the semiconductor physics of 2D materials and investigate their potential optoelectronic applications.
